Each year, the non-profit Heroes and Horses hosts its signature gathering, An Evening with Heroes and Horses, offering an opportunity for supporters and community members to connect with the staff and board who bring the mission to life. This special evening invites guests to learn more about the work being done to support combat veterans through an innovative and transformative approach to reintegration. It’s a chance to hear stories, ask questions, and build meaningful relationships with those at the heart of the organization.
The event features a shared dinner that encourages conversation and connection, as well as a silent auction with unique items contributed by local businesses and supporters. Additional programming may include live music, special guest speakers, and powerful testimonials from program graduates. Every element of the evening is designed to offer insight into the journey of the veterans served and the philosophy that guides Heroes and Horses: to “un-program the programmed.”
An Evening with Heroes and Horses is more than just an evening out—it’s an invitation into a community that believes in redefining strength, purpose, and healing. Through connection and storytelling, the event helps shine a light on the impact of the Heroes and Horses program and inspires deeper involvement and support. Each year, attendees leave not only more informed but also more connected to a mission that changes lives in profound and lasting ways.
